The general rule is: brush, soak and brush again. Always clean your denture over a bowl of water or a folded towel in case you drop it. I told the technician this and she failed to tell me that I should wait until the tooth fragments worked their way out of my gums and as a result there is a big gap between the outside of my gum and the denture.
