But when I left I was not given any follow up appt. He never explained anything to me. His assistant did more than him. I figured he was just busy.

We paid for extraction and dentures and it was for 2 sets one to wear until gums heal and so we did but it took so much time because they said not ready on gums. This went on & on and then they would NOT answer their phone when we called for the permanent set (we paid for) and they would not return messages. Dr. Athari has an amazing sense of calm about him. He walked us through everything and talked to us throughout the procedure. My mom needed frequent breaks during the surgery and he always gave her the time she needed to regroup. I bought a full upper denture and within months, they were way too loose. I was told by my dentist they would need relining after several months. My dentist now wants $475 to reline and fit these very thin dentures, but she never mentioned I would be charged to have these refitted. For most cases, this office is well equipped and able to be of great benefit. If you have a difficult case, you may need someone with a greater level of ability. I am unfortunately unable to rate this practice very high, while mine is a delicate and difficult case, I was left to find another professional to help me complete my implant process that was started with this office.
Another consideration is to travel overseas to countries where the cost of professional treatments like this are a lot lower. Often known as health tourism, India, Turkey, Poland, Costa Rica and Mexico are all options. However, there are risks attached to this and you should complete detailed research before taking such trips. In many circumstances thousands can be saved on the most complex dental treatments.
