Dental bridges, sometimes called fixed partial dentures, act as a restorative bridge across a gap made by missing teeth. The next week I came in early in the morning to have my impressions made. This was fairly quick and I was only in the office for about an hour total. The impression taking process was very unpleasant and I gagged the entire way through. I personally don't blame the dentist because I do have a very strong gag reflex.
