Implants: An implant is a metal post that is inserted into the bone of the upper or lower jaw. During the first several days after receiving your denture, you may be asked to wear it all the time, including while you sleep. The initial appointment started with a consultation. I didn't actually have anything done that day. The dentist and an assistant came in and gave me the costs as well as explained the process.
